If you are new here, or have been here for a while, I have some updates, policies and reminders for everyone entering 2023.
Please read fully if you are a current client or would like to be a future client. 😁
1.) I am not a 24/7 hotline. Yes you have my number, and with that privilege, do not abuse it. Please look at my hours that are posted. Any scheduling emails, texts, or phone calls will be returned the next business day if received outside those, unless urgent or hospice care. Weekend messages will be returned the next business day.
Sat & Sun: No office hours, but pet care being executed.
2.) A phone call is required to onboard new clients- not fb message or text. There is an automatic responder that contains my contact info and expansive website. Please read and follow the prompt if you want to get ahold of me or Katie for your pets.
3.) I am not a groomer nor veterinarian. I work in conjunction with your vet if necessary to help with owner compliance with prescribed care. I do not do bathing or haircuts. I am a Registered Veterinary Technician.
4.) Pets must be up to date on a Rabies vaccine, on flea and heartworm prevention, and the owners must be covid vaccinated.
5.) This IS an owner inclusive event. You will be asked to hold your pets and I will send you images of the way you will be assisting me. (Species specific)
6.) Please give me a minimum of 24 hours if you need to cancel or change an appointment. Your reminder text is not a reminder to cancel your appointment. If reminder calls are sent to you on a weekend, and you need to cancel, you are subject to the fee. 24 hours means business hours, not applicable on weekends.
7.) I confirm your pet's vaccination status as well as double check any prescribed meds, fluids, or care I will be performing for you with your DVM. There are no exceptions. Veterinary personnel share safety, medical and vaccination history.
8.) Same day appointments are not available. I book out 1-2+ weeks in advance depending on your location.
9.) Only the owner of a pet can make an appointment. Please refrain from price checking for family, or friends. There is no set fee for service, there is a sliding scale, and may vary based on the pet's difficulty level or medical need.
